After Lt. Hirano managed to open the first stable Starfleet-controlled quantum singularity,
the orders from Starfleet Command were to construct a deep space station at Casus Prime.
The aperture had to originate, and remain, from Casus Prime since the planet's unique gravity field emission
enables the artifical opening of the singularity's aperture, and our capability of controlling it.

The station is now mostly completed. While we have faced a heavy ion storm and a lethal virus, all personell is now able to fully reside on the station.
